1966
Starting with its very name (“Child’s Home” in Latin), Pueri Domus has been innovating since its foundation in 1966. When the world was still debating whether children should have a voice of their own, at our school they were already viewed as protagonists in the construction of their knowledge. That is why we are proud to be a school that was born with the future in mind.
1973
Since then, the number of students and facilities has grown steadily. In 1973 the Verbo Divino campus is born, starting out with one thousand students.
1981
Fifteen years after its foundation, Pueri Domus begins a process of expansion which leads to the opening of the Jacurici campus, in Itaim Bibi, and later of the Itaim campus, located to this day on Rua Itacema.
2009
In 2009, Pueri Domus becomes part of Grupo SEB (Brazilian Educational System), one of the most credible and respected educational institutions in Brazil. This enables the school to modernize its facilities, expand the use of technology as a learning tool and consolidate a management model that incorporates the most innovative practices in the field of education.
2010
In 2010, the Verbo Divino campus becomes one of the first Brazilian schools authorized to offer the IB (International Baccalaureate) programme, thus enabling its students to apply to the best universities worldwide.
2015
In 2015 Pueri Domus opens a new campus close to Parque da Aclimação, featuring the same quality and principles that have always been its hallmarks.
2017
In 2017 Pueri Domus completely overhauls its educational approach, introducing a bilingual curriculum in line with the goals of 21st Century Education. Thus is born Escola Bilíngua Pueri Domus!
2019
In 2019 Escola Bilíngua Pueri Domus takes another great step and starts working to set up its most recent campus, in Perdizes.
